When the time came to bend thin wall Titanium and Stainless Steel tubing to a super tight radius, Jet once again called on the experts at Baileigh Industrial to test, prove and deliver a manufacturing solution.
Our mandrel bending team worked closely with their engineers to determine what machine would fit their production needs in addition to the radius and bend quality they were looking for. After a couple test bends, it was determined that the MB-60-NC2 mandrel bending system was the perfect fit. Our team was able to provide Jet Aviation with successful bend samples in addition to real time videos of the bending process before they had even seen the machine in person.
The team at Jet was impressed and moved forward with the purchase. After taking delivery of the machine a couple weeks later, the Baileigh Industrial mandrel team, based in Stuttgart, Germany, traveled to Jet and provided their entire fabricating team with on-site, one-on- one training.
